Cottage Dream Vacations Land Acknowledgement

At Cottage Dream Vacations, we are fortunate to live, work, and welcome guests in some of the most beautiful places across Canada. We recognize that the lands and waters where our cottages, resorts, and offices are located have been cared for by Indigenous peoples since time immemorial.

Our headquarters in Whitby and several of our Ontario properties are situated within the traditional and treaty territories of Anishinaabe peoples, including the First Nations of the Williams Treaties. Our properties throughout the Kawarthas, Haliburton and Ottawa Valley are connected to the lands and waters of Anishinaabe and Algonquin peoples. In Prince Edward Island, our Chelton Beach properties are located within Epekwitk, the unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people, covered by the historic Treaties of Peace and Friendship.

We honour the First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples who have cared for these lands and waters for generations, and we acknowledge their enduring relationships with the places where we live, work, and welcome our guests.
